In addition to the ministries that directly impact those in our church family, Women's Ministries also supports several external ministries in our surrounding communities.
First Choice Women's Resource Centers is a Christian pro-life ministry, which has served the community since 1985. Each winter, their fundraiser - Baby Bottle Boomerang - distributes baby bottles to area churches for the collection of spare change. The donations benefit their centers in Morristown, Montclair, and Jersey City. We support their efforts by helping to promote, distribute, and collect baby bottle returns each year. Operation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations around the world through gift-filled shoe boxes and the Good News of God's love. For more information about this wonderful ministry, visit www.samaritan'spurse.org.
Calvary Bible Chapel Ministries is an inner-city outreach in the heart of Newark, NJ. They minister to the men, women and children there in both spiritual and practical ways. In addition to distributing food and clothing, CBCM ministers to their hunger and thirst by sharing the Bread of Life with them through Bible studies for all age groups.
The fall season marks the start of their Juice & Snack Drive. Donations of individual juice boxes and snacks are being collected by Women's Ministries at the Tuesday Morning Break or Evening Edition Bible studies.
