PrayerShawlMinistry

Care and the love of knitting have been combined into a prayerful ministry that reaches out to those in need of comfort and solace.  Many blessings are knitted into every shawl.  The knitter begins each shawl with prayers and blessings for the recipient, continuing throughout the creation of the shawl.

"There's no place like home for the holidays... For the holidays you can't beat Home, Sweet Home."  How many of us have taken the sentiment of that Christmas carol for granted?

Sadly, there are many people who have no place to call home.  To give those less fortunate a taste of home during the holidays, each year at Christmastime, the women at Millington bake homemade Christmas cookies for the residents at the Market Street Mission in Morristown.

Women's Ministries is again inviting all women to join in bringing holiday cheer to the residents at Market STreen Mission. You can help us by baking 3-6 dozen homemade Christmas cookies. The size of the cookie should not exceed 3" in diameter. The women experience a wonderful morning of celebration and fellowship. Christmas music plays as we fill and wrap boxes of cookies. Afterwards, the women enjoy a delicious lunch provided by Women's Ministries. All you need to do is bring the cookies! Daughters, ages 7 and older are welcome to attend with their moms.
