Senior Pastor
Pastor Peter Pendell has been with MBC since 1981. He is a graduate of Nyack College, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (M.Div.) and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (D.Min.). He is married to Elona. Their family has expanded recently with the arrival of their first grandchild, Austin, to Aimee and Drew Huber. The Pendells’ son, Jonathan, lives in Florida. Pastor Pendell has served in one other Conservative Baptist Church, has chaired the Board of WorldVenture and encourages the staff and church to maintain a WV commitment overseas. He loves to preach, care for people and visit the mission fields of the world.

Associate Pastor of Worship Arts
Pastor Chad Boudreaux joined the MBC pastoral staff in February 2004. He comes to us with a passion for worship, and especially to help others enter into the presence of God. Both he and his wife, Dawn, have graduate degrees in Classical and Operatic Music but they also have a deep love for contemporary worship music. They hail originally from Louisiana (feel free to think of Pastor Chad as our Cajun Crooner!) where they studied and were married. They moved to the NYC area to pursue more voice training and experience. Chad has served in a number of part-time church music positions but always knew that God’s call would eventually bring him to serve full-time. Their Maltese, Regal, watches over their home during the day and anxiously waits for their return each evening.

Women's Ministries Director
Margaret Hess joined the MBC ministry staff in January 2005 as Director of Women’s Ministries. Margaret has a desire to see women transformed by Jesus Christ through life-changing interaction with the Word of God and each other. The ministry is designed to draw women of all backgrounds and stages of life to connect with God and other women.
Margaret brings a highly energized and enthusiastic perspective to the staff and ministry using her gifts of hospitality and encouragement. She attended the University of Illinois majoring in the Fine Arts and has marketing experience working in the travel industry.
The fourth of six girls in her family, Margaret grew up in Glen Ellyn, IL, and moved to New Jersey in 1996 with her husband Bob, and three children, Jamie, Madeline and Patricia.

MBC Kids Director
Heather Powell recently joined the MBC ministry staff as our Director of Children's Ministries, now known as MBC Kids. She brings a strong background in teen ministries through her (and her husband Brian's) involvement in Young Life, and most recently served four years as Ministry Coordinator at the Renaissance Church in Summit. Heather grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, and studied and served in Dallas, Texas before moving to NJ in 2001. She and Brian are the parents of Brendan, born in January, 2008, one of the youngest of the many children Heather will be caring for in her new role at MBC.

MBC Teens Director
Robert Coords recently joined the MBC Ministry staff as the Director of MBC Teens. Rob is new to the Teen Ministry field but has a strong heart for serving teens and their families along with a strong heart to serve the Lord. Rob grew up in Middlesex Boro, NJ, and studied in Langehorne, PA, at Philadelphia Biblical University. He graduated in 2001 with a BS in Elementary Education and Bible. While in school, he met and married his wife and best friend Sonya. They have been married for over 7 years and she serves right alongside him with the teens. Rob and his wonderful wife Sonya are the parents of two beautiful children, Dakota and Connor. Along with a heart for teens, Rob has a passion for sharing God’s love around the world.

Little Footprints Learning Center Director
Peggy Clabough joined Little Footprints Learning Center, MBC's Bible-based Christian preschool, as the Director in February 2003. She is a graduate of Meredith College with a BA in Religion and Early Childhood Education. She is also a graduate of University of North Carolina in Greensboro with a M.Ed. in Elementary Education. Peggy is married to Doug and they have two grown children, Brian and Michael. She has a heart for children of all ages and a special talent for working with preschool and early elementary students. Her passion for LFLC is to enable it to continue as a premier Christian preschool which provides the 2 1/2 to 5 year old children it serves a solid spiritual and academic foundation. In addition to leading the school, she teaches the five day Pre-K class.
