Jeff Callender

Jeff and Joan live in Westfield and joined Millington in 2004. They have a son, Scott. Jeff is currently serving at MBC as a member of the Choir and on the Finance Team. Jeff is a tax partner at Deloitte & Touche, works in Manhattan at the World Financial Center, and is an avid golfer.

Chris Dowden

Chris was born in Decatur, GA and raised in Jacksonville, FL in a Christian home.  He accepted Christ at age 7, but it became a reality in his life during high school.  His Dad passed away when Chris was 10, and he credits the experience of dealing with that as helping to shape the man he has become.  His academic and professional experience has been both varied and accomplished, and he has worked for several different employers in the field of information technology and its application to business.  Chris and Jennifer met in a church in Edison, NJ and were married in West Virginia in 2002.  They now have two wonderful children-Eric (3½) and Heidi (1½) who keep them busy.  Chris and Jen have been active in both MBC and Liquid since 2001, and have been leaders in the Early Years Class and MBC Kids ministry for most of that time.  Chris says, "We love New Jersey and are committed to our ministry here at Millington Baptist Church."                    

Darren Hernandez 

Darren, Treasurer of our Board, along with his wife Sharon and their three children Alec, Sam and Morgan have lived in Basking Ridge since 1988. Darren has served a number of terms as an Elder and is integrally involved in MBC's relocation plans. He is currently the Chairman of the Long Range Planning Committee and particularly enjoys reaching the community through avenues such as coaching Little League baseball and Pop Warner football. Darren is the President and Chief Operating Officer of a privately-held family owned manufacturing company headquartered outside Charlottesville, Virginia.

Bill Keeble

A native of Birmingham, AL, Bill was born in 1959 and attended college in Knoxville, TN.  Afterwards, he moved to Atlanta, GA.  It was there where he met and eventually married his wife, Ruth, just over 20 years ago.  Bill, Ruth and his step-son Jose moved to New Jersey in 1992 as part of a relocation of Bill's job.  Bill left the corporate world several years ago and is now self-employed in the home furnishings business.  Bill accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior over 35 years ago. They started attending Millington in 2003 and joined the church a year later.  

John McCarthy

John lives in Gillette with his wife, Kim, and their three children, Candace, Caroline and Daniel.  John was born in 1961 and raised in Allentown PA.  He graduated from Penn State and works in the money management business as a financial advisor with Wells Fargo in Manhattan. When John and his family first joined the church, he helped with the Welcoming Committee.  Then John began helping teach first grade Sunday School before moving to second grade, where he still teaches.  John says, "I love Millington Baptist Church and have learned a great deal here!!"

Mark Melillo

Mark and Ruth reside in Bernardsville with their two children, Jessica and Anthony who have graduated college and are working in New York City. They have been members of MBC since 1982. Mark has served numerous terms as an Elder and is currently in his 22nd year of teaching the 5th and 6th Grade Boys Sunday School Class.

Mike Mueller

Mike and Linnette Mueller live in Cedar Knolls with their two children Avery and Adam. Mike teaches math at Parsippany High School and coaches the boys soccer team in the fall and the golf team in the spring. In addition, he leads a high school youth group which meets on Friday nights at a local church in Parsippany. Linnette volunteers much of her time at Millington with children's ministry as she manages the house during the day. Avery is five years old and entering kindergarten in the fall of 08 and Adam will be three years old in December and currently keeps mom busy during the day.
