We're hoping you'll visit in person soon! Our door is open to you, and we encourage you to explore the opportunities for growth and service at Millington Baptist. We have found that a life of peace and hope is ours as we walk with Jesus Christ. Day by day He fills life with meaning and direction.

We understand our calling to be "knowing Jesus, being Jesus to each other, and bringing Jesus to the world."  We strive to fulfill that vision by building each other up as disciples of our Lord, people who are passionate lovers of God, in authentic relationships within God's family, serving the world in the power of the Holy Spirit.

We have not arrived, but we’ve traveled far enough to know that God cares about us, that He has sent His Son to die for us, and that by trusting in Christ, we become children of the Living God. We invite you to come and grow with us.

                                 

What to Expect When You Visit...

Sunday Worship

Times: 9:00 AM and 10:45 AM

You will find worship at MBC to be both uplifting and exciting--giving all of us the opportunity to praise God and to get to know Him better.  Our worship music combines traditional hymns with more contemporary music, and is led by vocal and instrumental worship teams.  Bible-centered messages are most often given by our Senior Pastor, Peter Pendell, although our Associate Pastor and guest speakers can be heard occasionally.

Child care is available at both worship services.

Sunday School for Children and Teens

Time: 9:00 AM and 10:45 AM

For children ages 2 1/2 through Senior Highs, all classes meet at the 9:00 AM hour.  Your child will be welcomed into a class with his or her age group, and can look forward to an hour of experiencing God's love as it comes through our dedicated teachers and helpers.  Age-appropriate lessons communicate Bible truths to each child, encouraging each one to know Jesus better and to respond to His call on our lives.

For the 10:45 AM hour, we have additional classes for the K-and-under children, and a Children's Worship experience for grades 1 through 4.

All our teachers and helpers are fully screened, and we strive to provide a safe and secure learning environment  for your children.

Classes for Adults

Times: 9:00 AM and 10:45 AM 

We believe that our need to grow in the faith doesn't end when we become adults.  MBC offers a variety of Adult Classes throughout the year, and one of them will be just right for you.  Our study leaders open up the Bible or a leading Christian book for exploration and discussion, and many of our classes help to develop a real sense of fellowship among their participants, in some cases scheduling social events or service projects outside of the Sunday AM hour.
