About MBC

Millington Baptist Church is a fellowship of believers striving together to live out God's calling on our lives.  As we gather for worship, study, and fellowship, whether as the whole church or in small groups, we seek to discover God's truth, apply it to our lives, and use it to enrich the lives of others and fulfill the work of Christ's Kingdom.  As we seek to grow to be more and more the people God wants us to be, we see our purpose as believers to be summed up in three key concepts:

Knowing Jesus

Being Jesus to each other                                    

Bringing Jesus to the world

We like to think of mature disciples of Jesus as being "passionate lovers of God, in authentic relationships within God's family, serving the world in the power of the Holy Spirit".  Our church programs are all designed to everyone in the MBC family grow in each of these areas, as God works in our hearts to draw us closer to Him.
